Barcelona Intends To Bring Neymar Home To Camp Nou, His Borrowing Option From PSG Could Be A Solution
JAKARTA - Barcelona are reportedly intending to bring Neymar home from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after previously failing to sign Lionel Messi.
Barcelona reportedly already has a lot that has been agreed upon. However, there is one big problem that prevents the Blaugrana from bringing Neymar back to Camp Nou.
Neymar moved from Spain to France in 2017 for a transfer value of 198 million euros, which remains the greatest transfer of all time. However, after six years in Paris, PSG and Neymar appear to be ready to separate.
Chelsea and Manchester United are among those associated with Neymar. However, returning to the Nou Camp appears to be the striker's choice.
Khaled Waleed of beIN Sports predicts PSG and Barca have an agreement for the transfer.
But Neymar's salary is a difficult point to materialize. Barcelona needs PSG to help pay most of it.
The Brazilian national team star is believed to earn 600 thousand per week. Barca's dire financial situation makes them unable to match Neymar's current salary.
The solution is the loan option. Klausul paid Neymar's salary together to smooth the move.
Another problem that could arise was Barcelona coach, Xavi. He once said he was surprised to hear this news and insisted Neymar was not in Barcelona's plans.
"I really like Neymar as a friend, but we have different priorities," said Xavi.
