RSCM Jakarta has involved a scientific multi-disciplinary medical team to restore patient weight.
Lies said the cases experienced by Fajri were rare incidents experienced by adults. The case is the second time handled by the RSCM medical team, after previously a similar case was experienced by a patient on behalf of Arya Permana (10) in 2016 weighing around 190 kg.
Meanwhile, the case of obesity in children was handled by RSCM in early 2023 on behalf of Muhammad Kenzi Alfaro, a 16-month toddler weighing 27 kg from Bekasi Regency, West Java. The two cases were successfully handled by the RSCM medical team.
