To Debut In GIIAS, Haval Tests New Big SUV

JAKARTA - An automotive company from China, Great Wall Motor (GWM) with its sub-smack, Haval, was recently caught on camera testing the successor SUV from H5 with a different look.

Haval is a sub-brand owned by Great Wall Motor. This sub-brand will make its debut in Indonesia at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) automotive exhibition on August 10-20.

The SUV with the code name "P04" was caught on camera testing on the Chinese streets. The car looks on a large and wide dimension like Haval H5.

Reporting from Carnewschina, Sunday, June 11, P04 has a length of 5,190 mm, a width of 1,905 mm, a height of 1,835 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,140 mm. In China's MIIT document, the car will be labeled three different labels, namely Haval H5, Haval H5L, and Haval H5 MAX.

The three labels are likely to match their respective sizes, namely compact, medium, and large versions. With a large size. The newest H5 Haval will have a five-seater layout.

The Mitsubishi Pajero rival is expected to use a 4C20B 2.T and 4D20M 2.0T gasoline engine which is married to the performance of the six-hand transmission system.

For the 2.0T gasoline engine, it offers two options with a strength of 194 dk and 221 dk. Meanwhile, diesel engines can power up to 163 dk. The machines were developed by SVOLT, one of the GWM divisions.

Previous camera capture also shows the interior of the newest Haval H5. This large SUV has an LCD instrument panel and a central control screen on the infotainment system.

Although they will not sell their cars in Indonesia yet, GWM sees the potential market in Indonesia. So, they will present several sub-floats such as Ora, Haval, and Tanks.

It remains unclear what model Haval will bring, a brand known as a luxury car manufacturer in China. The models born under the names of Haval are H5, H6, Shenshou, and Xiaolong Max.
