Google Cloud announced the availability of Generative AI support on Vertex AI in general to help organizations accelerate their AI adoption.

This support includes the Model Garden which provides AI scientific and practitioner data at the company access to the ready-to-use generative AI model, and the Generative AI Studio to help them adjust the model and quickly integrate it into their own applications and websites, both internal and those provided for consumers.

The Garden model has more than 60 models from Google and a number of its partners, including models to summarize and translate text in multiple languages, have continuous conversations, create audio captions, create studio class quality images based on text descriptions, as well as create and improve software codes.

Google is evaluating its model strictly to ensure compliance with the Responsible AI Principle. When using Vertex AI, customers always have full control over their data. The data does not need to exit the cloud tenant environment provided by customers, is encrypted both when sent and when stored, and is not shared or used to train Google models.
