South Bengkulu Kejari Seizes A Number Of Documents Related To The Corruption Of BOS Funds At SMK IT Al-Malik

The South Bengkulu Kejari confiscated a number of documents for evidence related to the alleged corruption case of school operational assistance funds (BOS), as well as grant funds from the Bengkulu Provincial Government at the Al-Malik IT Vocational High School (SMK), South Bengkulu Regency."After conducting a search on Wednesday afternoon, we confiscated a number of documents to be used as evidence related to the alleged corruption at the school," said Head of the Special Crimes Section of the South Bengkulu Kejari Asido Nainggolan in Bengkulu, Antara, Thursday, June 8.Asido, who was accompanied by the Head of the Section of the South Bengkulu Kejari Intel Hendra Catur Putra, said the documents that had been confiscated at the school under the auspices of the Duaya Sekkung Foundation were then taken to the South Bengkulu District Attorney's Office to become evidence and investigation interests later."After yesterday's search, South Bengkulu Kejari investigators raised the status of the alleged corruption case at SMK IT from an investigation to an investigation," he said.Asido explained that the total amount of BOS funds and grants raised reached around Rp664 million, with details, namely BOS funds in 2021 of around Rp140 million, BOS funds in 2022 of around Rp374 million and grant funds from the Bengkulu Provincial Government in 2022 of around Rp150 million.Meanwhile, indications of state losses, said Asido, came from several fictitious expenditures such as computer purchases, mark up goods prices, manipulation of basic education data (Dapodik), and inflating the number of students through Dapodik data manipulation."We have written to the audit agency to calculate state losses. If we estimate state losses above Rp. 200 million, but that cannot be used as a reference. We are just waiting for the results of the calculation from the auditor," he said.He said his party had examined a number of people such as the principal, the private sector as the provider of goods and others, but no one had yet been named a suspect in this case.
