Police Investigate The Discovery Of Student Body On Jalan KH Azhari Palembang

Police officers are investigating the case of the discovery of the body of a male student who died with a sharp weapon stab wound, on Jalan KH Azhari, Seberang Ulu II, Palembang, South Sumatra.

The Head of Seberang Ulu II Palembang Police, Kompol Bayu Arya, said the man with the initials FP (15), a resident of Sei Selayur, Palembang.

FP was found dead lying on the road with a sharp weapon stab wound deep enough on the back shoulder, Thursday, 1/6) morning.

"The victim's family has confirmed that it is FP of his son, who attends a private high school in Palembang," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, June 1.

He explained that currently FP was suspected of being the victim of a stabbing to death after being involved in a brawl.

This was obtained by the police from the information of local residents when conducting the crime scene.

At that time, at around 02.30 WIB, residents of Jalan KH Azhar heard exhaust noise and noise between groups of people who were enemies.

"Some time after the voice disappeared, local residents ventured out of the house, and found the victim lying covered in blood on the road," he said.

When found, FP wore a red hoodie jacket and the same training pants as when he left the house according to his family.

Police are still collecting evidence including surveillance camera footage (CCVT) to reveal the death of the victim and arrest the perpetrators.

The disclosure of the case also became the attention of personnel from the Palembang Police Satreskrim and the Jatarnras Sub-Directorate of the South Sumatra Police Ditreskrimum. "Hopefully it will be revealed soon and the perpetrators will be caught," he said.
