It Took 3 Months For The Police To Arrest The Most Wanted Robbers In Sukabumi
For three months roaming freely, Dede Risman (36), who was suspected of embezzling online motorcycle taxi drivers in the Sukabumi City area, West Java, was finally arrested by the Sukabumi City Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) Jatanras Team.
"The suspect was arrested on Saturday, May 27 in the morning at around 02.00 WIB in Cipaat Village, Simpang Village, Takokak District, Cianjur Regency, West Java. This robbery is one of the most wanted fugitives by the police, because in carrying out the action he does not hesitate to injure his victims," said Sukabumi City Police Chief AKBP Ari Swtyawan Wibowo, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 29.
Meanwhile, information gathered by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sukabumi City Police, AKP Yanto Sudiharto, said that the robbery carried out by the suspect Dede occurred in March 2023, where the victim was Agus Hermawan (29), a resident of Subangjaya Village, Cikole District, Sukabumi City.
Where while carrying out the action the suspect armed with a piece of wood and knife which then stopped the victim's motorbike in the Cikole District area and threatened to kill him if he tried to fight or seek help.
The frightened victim finally wanted to hand over a Honda Beat motorcycle and a smartphone. After carrying out the action, the suspect immediately fled to Cianjur. Meanwhile, after feeling safe, the victim then reported the incident that had just happened to the Sukabumi City Police.
Receiving the burglary case, Sukabumi City Police Satreskrim personnel immediately developed this case by asking for information from victims and witnesses and conducting crime scene investigations (TKP).
"Thanks to the team's hard work, the suspect finally managed to arrest us without a fight in the Cianjur Regency area, from the perpetrators, we confiscated evidence of wood sticks and knives used to threaten the victim," he added.

Yanto said the suspect Dede was one of the most wanted fugitives by his side, and was even included in the 2023 Lodaya Lobas Operation target. Until now, the perpetrators are still being questioned by investigators and are suspected of having carried out several acts of robbery.
"The suspect was charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of nine years in prison," he said.
