Pilgrims Of Prospective Hajj Group 1 Jakarta Embarkation Arrive In Medina
JAKARTA - The first 390 prospective Indonesian pilgrims for the flying group (cluter) from the Jakarta Pondok Gede (JKG) embarkation arrived at Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz Airport (AMMA) Medina, Saudi Arabia.
The reception took place with the susceptibility of Thala'al Badru and the giving of flowers to Indonesian pilgrims.
Congregants left the airport via a fast track terminal or fast lane without checking fingerprints and bio visas of Saudi Immigration. The presence of the first Indonesian pilgrims was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah in the field of Pilgrimage Abdurrahman Bejawi, the Indonesian Ambassador in Saudi Abdul Aziz Ahmad, the Chairperson of the Saudi Arabia Hajj Organizing Officer (PPIH) Subhan Cholid, the Consul for Hajj at the Indonesian Consulate in Jeddah Nasrullah Jasam, and the Head of the Haryanto Airport Daker along with his staff.
"Marhaban dhuyufurrahman. Welcome guests of Allah. Alhamdulillah, the welcoming atmosphere is very good and smooth. The process is simple and solemn. The congregation is not long at the airport, directly to the bus to be delivered to the hotel. Their baggage suitcase was also immediately delivered to the hotel," said Saudi Arabian PPIH Coordinator Abdul Aziz at the AMAA Madinah Airport Fast Track Terminal reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 24.
Aziz said there were 185 elderly people (elderly) in the group and all of them were seen physically in good and fresh condition, and still had to be watched out for, because the weather in Saudi was very hot compared to Indonesia.
"Give the best service so that they can worship well. I see the officers are alert and have prepared everything. I hope this attitude will be maintained until the end of operations," Aziz ordered the Hajj officer.
Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah for Pilgrimage Abdurrahman Bejawi Bejawi also welcomed the pilgrims for Indonesian Hajj candidates.

According to him, the fast track is a service from the King of Saudi Arabia so that the congregation's journey in Medina runs faster and smoother.
"Our target of this fast track service is to provide comfort on the journey for pilgrims. This is part of Saudi Arabia's services for pilgrims from various countries, including Indonesia," he said.
Based on the Garuda Indonesia GA7301 flight manifest, the total number of passengers in this first batch was 390 people consisting of 382 Hajj candidates and eight officers.
There are 390 JKG 01 pilgrims, including four cluster officers. Of that number, there are nine wheelchair users. They flew with Garuda Indonesia GA 7301.
While in Medina, they will occupy the Grand Plaza Badr Al Maqam Hotel in Sector 1 of Daker Medina. The location is near the front yard of the Prophet's Mosque.
The monitoring of the 2023 Hajj media center team (MCH) at the airport, looks happy and grateful to have arrived in Saudi Arabia from the participants of Indonesian Hajj candidates.
"I'm really happy, thank God I got to Medina," said Intia (60) from Mampang, South Jakarta, who sells chicken pecels every day.
He admitted to registering for Hajj at the end of 2011 and finally being able to go to the Holy Land in 2023.
