Mgr. Ignatius Cardinal Suharyo Leads Easter Mass 2023 The Great Family Of Retired TNI And Polri
JAKARTA - Bishop of Catholics in the TNI and Polri (Ordinariatus Castrensis Indonesia/OCI), Mgr. Ignatius Cardinal Suharyo leads the Easter Mass of the Retired Family of the TNI and Polri at the St Church. Agustinus Parish Halim Perdanakusuma, East Jakarta, Saturday 13 May. In reflection of his sermon Mgr. Ignatius Cardinal Suharyo stressed, whoever we have the same life call, namely life growing in the perfection of love and devotion through the way of life and the profession we choose. For this reason, please and be happy with the call towards perfection and purification in this modern world," said Bishop of OCI. A total of 480 retired TNI and Polri attended the Eucratic Celebration Celebration with the Bishop of OCI accompanied by 5 priests namely Rm. Yos Bintoro, Pr., Rm. Sutopanitro, Pr. Rm. Rochadi, Pr., Rm. Hendaryono, Pr. and Rm Rudi Hartono, Pr. The 2023 Easter Mass by carrying the theme I, Don'' (Yoh. 6:20) it was intended to gather the Great Family of Retired TNI and the Jabodetabek Police with the aim of forming the integrity communities of Purnawirawan TNI and Polri and their families who can participate in the services of TNI and Polri Catholics. After Easter Mass, a photo was carried out with the Bishop of OCI, Mgr. Ignatius Cardinal Suharyo and the priests. Then continued the friendly event. In the friendly event Mgr. Ignatius Cardinal Suharyo received memories in the form of a Grand Photo Album of the Indonesian Army's Disrohkath Family throughout Indonesia including in it photos of the priests who had served in Disohkath TNI AD.

The photo album, which was compiled in 1977 and signed by the Project Officer, Major AO Moenardi, was handed over by Mrs. Maria Goretti Sulistuti Soegihardjo, wife of the late Lt. Col. Anumerta Raden Emmanuel (R.E.) Soegihardjo who died in East Timor in 1983. On the Ekaristi Celebration of Heroes' Day 2021 Bishop OCI, Mgr. Ignatius Cardinal Suharyo has awarded the Award to Lt. Col. Anumerta STE Soegihardjo on the testimony of faith in loving the homeland and death as the nation's kusuma so as to inspire Catholics to interpret the height of the Lord Jesus.
