Minister Of ATR/BPR Hand Over Money To Replace Yogya-Bawen Toll Project Of IDR 85 Billion
JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Hadi Tjahjanto and Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN Raja Juli Antoni handed over compensation for land acquisition for the Yogya-Bawen toll road project in Semarang Regency, Central Java, worth IDR 85 billion.
The replacement money was given to 44 recipients based on the results of an inventory of 50 plots of land. The government ensures that people whose land is affected by the construction of the toll road will receive compensation.
"The people's land must be replaced fairly and properly, so that compensation is not compensation. That way people are happy," Hadi said in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 10.
On this occasion, Hadi had a dialogue with the people who received the replacement money. According to him, people have planned to move to buy houses and fields of rice fields.
"They felt that this profit change was much bigger than when it was originally purchased," said Hadi.

The replacement money was carried out in conjunction with the release of land rights. Furthermore, the payment was transferred directly by the State Asset Management Institute (LMAN) to the accounts of the recipients.
The Minister of ATR/Head of BPN hopes that the compensation for land affected by the Yogya-Bawen Toll Road can be useful for the community.
"Hopefully the process (land acquisition) in other areas can also be carried out immediately so as not to hinder national strategic projects and of course it is for the prosperity of the people," he said.
