Motorhead Releases Animated Video For Metallica Cover Song, Enter Sandman

JAKARTA - There is always a strong relationship between Motorhead and Metallica. The unique friendship between the two has stood for decades, where Metallica even took part in Lemmy's 50th birthday party in 1995.

Instead, Motorhead has paid tribute to Metallica's best compositions, even winning the Grammy Award for their cover, Whiplash, in 2004.

However, their cover of one of the most iconic classic hard rock music of all time, Enter Sandman, has been largely ignored so far.

Originally recorded for ECW wrestling compilation in 1998 (which was also nominated for the Grammys), the song was not available outside the CD - until now.

In the new animated video for the Motorhead version of Enter Sandman, it is shown a terrible nocturnal journey through a child's nightmare haunted by an evil sandman in his dream, and finally saved by the power of the Motorhead, Warpig, which has no comparison. The clip was produced by Mulberry Creative.

The Motorhead version of Enter Sandman is also available on all streaming platforms, including Dolby Atmos on Apple Music and 360 Spatial Audio on Amazon. There is also a limited edition seven-inch exclusive single with a Warpig-side carving with an exclusive merch and bundle, available on official Motorhead stores as long as supplies remain.
