AGMS, XL Axiata Changes Directors And Dividend Dividends Of IDR 551.7 Billion

JAKARTA - PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) approved Rp551.7 billion or 50 percent of the profits after the adjustment, distributed as dividends to shareholders.

This company decision was taken at the 2023 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (Rapat). The online meeting has six agenda items that have been approved at the Meeting, including approval of changes in the composition of the Board of Directors and distribution of dividends.

XL Axiata President Director & CEO Dian Siswarini said the decision to provide dividends is a form of appreciation to shareholders who have supported the company to continue to grow and develop to this day.

This year, the Meeting again approved the use of 50 percent of the profits after the adjustment, to be distributed as dividends to shareholders. This total dividend is approximately IDR 551.7 billion, which is equivalent to IDR 42 per share," he said in an official statement, Friday, May 5.

Dian explained that we will use the rest of the other profits as a General Reserve Allocation of Rp. 100 million and the rest is recorded in the Profit Balance of Detained to support the development of the Company's business.

In addition to approving the provision of dividends, said Dian, in the sixth agenda, the meeting also approved changes to the composition of the board of directors. This change is related to the replacement of the Director of Finance in line with Budi Pramantika's resignation.

"Appointing Feiruz Ikhwan as a replacement for Budi Pramantika," he said.

Feiruz is a professional who previously had a career in a number of companies under Axiata Group Bhd, including XL Axiata. Prior to rejoining XL Axiata, Feiruz Ikhwan served as Chief Financial Officer and Act CEO of Smart Axiata in Cambodia.
