Two Tourists Found Dead On Bengkulu Panjang Beach
BENGKULU - The Bengkulu National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) found two victims from Palembang, South Sumatra who were swept away in the Panjang Beach area, namely Zulfan (55) and Rizal (35) in a state of death.
"For the victims found by the joint team on Wednesday, May 3 in the morning, at a position approximately 500 meters from the location of the incident," said Head of Basarnas Bengkulu M Arafah, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 3. Then for Rizal's victims it was found with a distance of 2.55 Nautical Mile west of 270 degrees from the location of the incident in a dead condition. Previously, there were five residents of South Sumatra who drowned while bathing in the Panjang Beach area, namely Zulpan (55), Rizal (35), Asari (35), Saca (30) and Sobran (32). For the other three victims, namely Asari, Saca and Sobran have died and have now been taken to the funeral home in Palembang using an ambulance, said M Arafah.
