Cak Imin And Airlangga Meet Tomorrow, Signal Golkar Joining PKB-Gerindra Coalition?
JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin will hold a meeting with the General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto at the Court Resto, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, May 3, tomorrow.
Deputy Chairperson of the PKB DPP Election Winning Division, Jazilul Fawaid, said the meeting which will take place at 13.00 WIB was a halal bihalal event for PKB and Golkar.
"Yes, God willing, tomorrow Wednesday, May 3, around 13.00 WIB, Gus Imin and Pak Airlangga are planning to hold a halalbihalal PKB DPP and Golkar DPP," said Jazilul in Jakarta, Tuesday, May 2.
Regarding whether the meeting was a signal that the Golkar Party would move closer to the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR) formed by PKB-Gerindra, Jazilul was reluctant to comment. He only ensured that one of the agendas for the Cak Imin and Airlangga meeting was to discuss the latest political developments. "Gus Imin and Pak Airlangga were accompanied by their respective DPP administrators. The agenda is halalbihalal as well as exchanging ideas regarding updates on political developments," he said.
Previously, Cak Imin had said that the Golkar Party had a very high chance of joining the KKIR with PKB and the Gerindra Party.

"This additional PKB-Gerindra coalition, which has just fixed Golkar, hopes that it will not change. We hope that this coalition can further strengthen the PKB-Gerindra coalition," said Muhaimin at the PKB DPP Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 18.
Cak Imin said, before Golkar closes to the KKIR, there must first be a frequency adjustment so that there is a common vision between the three political parties.
