D-1 Lebaran 2023, 362 Thousand Passengers Leave Jabodetabek Via Gambir Station And Pasar Senen
PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta noted that more than 300 thousand residents left Jabodetabek through Gambir Station and Pasar Senen at the peak of the Lebaran 2023 homecoming period 18-21 April 2023, with occupancy reaching 100 percent.
"During the Eid 2023 transportation period for the scheduled departure of April 12 to 21 (H-10 to D-1), around 362,000 service users departed using long-distance trains from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen in the Daop 1 Jakarta area," said Head of Public Relations of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa to the media, Friday, April 21.
"The peak of the homecoming flow with seating occupancy reaching 100 percent occurred on April 18 to 21, 2023," he added.
Referring to the data he holds on Friday, April 21, 2023, around 600 thousand tickets for the departure of the Eid transportation period from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen have been sold. Of this amount, the majority of orders were made for the departure schedule on a favorite date, namely 14 to 23 April 2023.
"Based on ticket data sold on these dates, the occupancy rate of passenger volume has reached 90 to 100 percent with the highest passenger volume departing recorded at 18, 19, 20, and April 21, 2023, where the occupancy rate or seating occupancy reached 100 percent," he said.
