After Being Inaugurated As Minister Of Agriculture, Amran Immediately Stepd On The Gas Meeting With His Subordinates

JAKARTA - Amran Sulaiman was officially appointed by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to become Minister of Agriculture. He replaced Syahrul Yasin Limpo who stumbled on a corruption case.

Amran admitted that he would immediately work by holding a meeting with echelons at the Ministry of Agriculture.

"Alhamdulillah, today, God willing, we will immediately carry out our duties. Immediately this afternoon we had a meeting with echelon I, II, III. This afternoon at 13.00 WIB, God willing, we will have a meeting," he said at the State Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday, October 25.

Amran also admitted that he would continue the good programs from Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

"What is good is we continue. We will discuss it with the team, echelon I," he said.

Amran said he would continue to consolidate with all ranks at the Ministry of Agriculture. He believes that there are no problems that cannot be resolved.

"We will consolidate first, God willing, there will be no problems that cannot be solved, we are looking for solutions," he said.

Currently, said Amran, the most important thing is how to solve the problems faced by farmers in the country. He also admitted that he would absorb complaints from farmers.

"How to solve the farmer's problem, what are the farmers' complaints. If farmers shout there is no fertilizer, it means that the sign of production will decrease. This means that it is simple, we will finish this first with other techniques," he said.
