Check Out Ricecooker Types And Recipients Who Will Be Freely Distributed This Year

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has just issued Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation Number 11 of 2023 concerning the Provision of Electricity-Based Cooking Equipment for Households.

Secretary-General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Dadan Kusdiana said that the program is intended to increase the use of clean energy in all sectors and for the household sector will begin this year.

"In the household sector, we also encourage one of them to shift to electricity, we will do it this year," Dadan told the media when met at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, quoted Monday, October 9.

In the regulation issued on October 2, it also includes the specifications of the Electric Cooking Tool (AML) which is used to make children, warm and steam meaning.

At the time of distribution, residents who get free rice cookers from the government will receive a set of AML along with operating instructions, guarantee cards and brochures containing recommendations for use patterns.

Article 10 paragraph 3 of the regulation also states that the types of rice cookers distributed have a capacity of 1.8 liters to 2.2 liters and are equipped with a sticker that reads "Grants of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and Not for Trade" that are not easily faded and not easily removed.

The criteria for the AML recipients are households with PLN customer criteria with the following conditions:

1. Rating classes for small household needs at low voltage with a power of 450 (four hundred and fifty) volt-ampere (R-l/TR)

2. Rating classes for small household needs at low voltage with a power of 900 (nine hundred) volt-ampere and 900 (nine hundred) volt-ampere RTM (R-l/TR), or

3. Rating classes for small household needs at low voltage with a power of 1,300 (one thousand three hundred) volt-ampere (R-l/TR), which is domiciled in areas where there is a low voltage power grid that receives electricity supply for 24 (twenty-four) hours per day.

Article 12 also states that the provision of AML for free is only done 1 (one) time for each AML recipient.
