Ministry Of Finance In Order The Role Of The State Budget To Young People

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) cooperates with Airlangga University (Unair) in order to socialize the development of the performance of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) among young people.

Special Staff to the Minister of Finance for Regional Fiscal Policy Formulation Chandra Fajri Ananda said that young people are the key to transforming towards Indonesia Gold 2045.

"Fiscal policy in 2024 is directed to accelerate inclusive and sustainable economic transformation. The realization of the vision of an Advanced Indonesia in 2045 is pursued with various sustainable policies, one of which is with the support of a systematic, directed, and sustainable economic transformation," he said in a written statement quoted on Thursday, September 7.

According to Chandra, economic transformation can increase economic output and restore the economy to the pre-pandemic potential.

"Fiscal policy is designed to respond to economic dynamics effectively, respond to challenges appropriately and support various development agendas optimally," he said.

On the same occasion, the East Java Treasury Regional Office, Taukhid, revealed that the State Budget is always present in every social life.

"We enjoy the state budget through electricity subsidies that reach our homes and so on," he said.

Meanwhile, the activity at Unair was in the form of discussions to discuss various issues related to the management of the APBN which was attended by around 300 participants.

This dialogue also presented speakers from PT Sarana Multigriya Finance (SMF), the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI), and the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) which is a Special Mission Vehicles (SMV) that plays a role in supporting economic development both nationally and regionally.

Another thing discussed is the role of LPDP in creating future leaders and professionals in Indonesia, as well as ensuring the continuity of education (intergenerational equity) between organizations through the management of the Endowment Education Fund (DAP) and providing public services in the form of Scholarship Services and Research Funding Services.
