Minister Basuki Regarding Waskita Karya Working On The IKN Project In The Middle Of A Difficult Situation: It's OK, Safe

JAKARTA - PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk is one of the SOEs that builds ASN Flats (Rusun) in the State Capital (IKN) Nusantara. Recently, Waskita has been highlighted because it is in large debt.

Responding to this, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono guaranteed that the ASN Flats project as many as 47 Towers and a number of other IKN projects that Waskita was working on were safe.

"It's okay, it's safe," said Minister Basuki when met at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, on Wednesday, August 30.

Basuki said this project was safe because it was carried out by SOEs and private companies using the Partnership/Operational Cooperation (KSO) system.

"We ask Waskita for KSO so that the budget is indeed for the project," he said.

For your information, the construction of 47 ASN-Hankam Flats consists of 6 physical work packages and 4 construction management packages with a total budget of Rp9.4 trillion. Package 1 of Police and BIN Flats by service providers (KSO) Adhi-Nindya-Wiratman, Package 2 of Paspampres Flats by PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Bangunan.

Then, for Package 3 of ASN 1 Flats by PP-Urban-Jaya Construction (KSO), Package 4 of ASN 2 Flats by PT Hutama Karya, Package 5 of ASN 3 Flats by PT Waskita Karya, and Package 6 of ASN 4 Flats by Abipraya-Deta (KSO).

In addition, the company is also working on the IKN 5A toll road project, including the construction of the Dirgahayu Bridge which will become an icon (progress 33.67 percent), and the Sepaku Segmen 4 Ring Road project (progress 48.13 percent).

Next, the company won a tender for the construction of the Road Feeder for the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) IKN Road project, and signed a work contract in early July 2023.

Not only that, there is also the Presidential Secretariat Building project and Support Building Facilities, Building and Area projects of the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko) Package 3, Building and Area projects of the Coordinating Ministry for Package 4.

As a supporter of water resource infrastructure, the company also builds Spice Water Processing Installations (IPAL) 1, 2, 3 at IKN.
