InJourney Provides Free Shuttle Bus From LRT Station To TMII

PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney will provide free shuttle buses for visitors to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) using the Jabodebek LRT.

For your information, TMII has been revitalized and will be inaugurated in September 2023. The new face of TMII is currently very thick with the feel of green space with an environmentally friendly concept.

InJourney's Director of Marketing and Tourism Program, Maya Watono, said visitors using the Jabodebek LRT mass transportation could go down at the TMII LRT Station, then they would be escorted by shuttle bus.

Maya explained that these facilities are provided to encourage people to use public transportation.

"So from the LRT here we will have a special shuttle which is regular to bring visitors here," he said when met at TMII, East Jakarta, written Friday, August 25.

Free Bus Shuttle

Maya emphasized that the shuttle bus provided by the manager of TMII is free or free. The shuttle bus is specifically for prospective visitors.

"So indeed we encourage people to ride the LRT. Then when it is opened, there is also a shuttle that specifically accesses only to Taman Mini," he said.

Meanwhile, TWC's Director of Marketing, Services & Business Development, Hetty Herawati, said that with the shuttle bus, it is hoped that more people will be interested in coming to TMII using public transportation. Given, private vehicles are not allowed to be used to tour inside TMII.

Hetty also said that the area within the TMII area had been made sterile from private motorized vehicles. Hetty said, the area previously crowded with vehicles is now being used as a public area.

"Space, which was once full of parking vehicles, maybe now we use it for public space, for sitting, for traveling, having a picnic, right. We even have a special picnic, there is a picnic garden, two places, two locations. So you can bring family, friends, and community," he said.
