Food Station Involved In BUMD Activities Planting 1,400 Trees

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono, planted the first tree in the "BUMD Planting" activity at BMW Park, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, to coincide with the closure of the 2023 BUMD Porseni, Monday 21 August.

The activities of BUMD planting are carried out in order to reforestation and reduce air pollution in DKI Jakarta, this tree planting activity is led directly by Heru Budi Hartono together with the Head of BP BUMD, Nasruddin Djoko Surjono and BUMD Directors within the DKI Jakarta Government.

Heru Budi Hartono said that this planting activity is a form of BUMD support for reforestation in DKI Jakarta. It is hoped that this activity can increase the synergy between BUMDs which will have a positive impact on the people of Jakarta.

"The first one we are here is to close the BUMD Porseni. The second is the synergy of BUMD planting trees with a total of about 1,400 trees at several points," said Heru Budi.

This Planting BUMD activity will be carried out in stages in several areas, such as the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area, Rambutan 1 Reservoir, Wirajasa Embung, Kaja Reservoir, and West Boulevard Raya Street - Kelapa Gading.

Types of trees to be planted include Trembesi Tree (Samanea Saman), Ketapang Kencana (Terminalia Mantaly), Pulai (Alstonia Scholaris), Tabebuya (Tabebuia Rosea), Bungur (Lagerstomeia SPeciosa), Leda (Eucalyptus Deglupta), and Tecomastan (Tecoma Stans).

On the same occasion, President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, Pamrihadi, said enthusiastically that the Food Station is very proud to be involved in planting BUMD activities that synergize with the DKI Jakarta Government and BUMD-BUMD in the DKI Jakarta Province/

"Because we can contribute directly to reforestation and the planting of trees is also a concrete action in an effort to reduce air pollution in Jakarta," said Pamrihadi.
