PT KAI Presents The Promotion Of The 78th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) presents a Promo ticket program Time for Merdeka from Traffic Jams (Satset) in commemoration and enlivening the 78th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

"The Satset promo is aimed at improving services to customers on the momentum of the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. KAI hopes that the public can take advantage of the opportunity to travel by train at very affordable rates," said Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 7 Madiun, Supriyanto in Madiun, quoted from Antara, Monday 14 August.

According to him, the Satset promo took place for bookings from August 16 to 18, 2023 with train departures from August 17 to 26, 2023, which only applies to ticket purchases through the Access application.

"In the Satset Promo, KAI provides a total of 20,000 train tickets with special discounts that can be ordered by the public," he said.

There are two mechanisms in the Satset Promo, the first is Regular Promo where customers only need to pay for tickets of 78 percent of the lowest subclass of executive, business and economic class. For example, Argo Dwipangga Train, Gambir-Solo Balapan relation, with the lowest price being sold at IDR 420,000, can be purchased at IDR 325,000. KAI provides 13,140 tickets for this Regular Promo.

The second is the Flash Sale Promo where KAI sells tickets for only Rp. 78,000 for executive class. Flash Sale Promo tickets can be purchased from 12.00 WIB to 13.00 WIB and from 19.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB during the promo. There are 6,920 tickets for this Flash Sale Promo.

Nationally, there are 38 trains available on the Satset Promo. The trains are various destinations, ranging from and to Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and other cities that can be obtained at affordable rates.

Of the 38 trains, 15 of them departed from Daop 7 and those passed on Daop 7 Madiun. Namely, KA Bima (Gambir Surabaya Gubeng pp), Brantas (Blitar - Pasar Senen pp), Brawijaya (Malang Gambir pp), Gajayana (Malang Gambir pp), South Night New Style (Pasar Senen Surabaya Gubeng pp), Malabar (Bandung Malang pp), and South Mutiara (Bandung - Surabaya Gubeng pp)

Then, Ranggajati (Cirebon Jember pp), Sancaka (Yogyakarta - Surabaya Gubeng pp), Singasari (Blitar Pasar Senen pp), Turangga (Bandung - Surabaya Gubeng pp), Wijayakusuma (Ketapang Cilacap pp), Jayakarta (Pasar Senen - Surabaya Gubeng pp), Majapahit (Pasar Senen Malang pp), and Mataramaja (Malang- Pasar Senen pp)

"Hopefully with the presence of the Satset Promo, the Access application will be increasingly in demand by the public and help people who want to travel by train at attractive rates," said Supriyanto.
