Sido Muncul Receives Titanium Award From BPOM

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu Dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) won the highest award from the Indonesian Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM).

The award was received directly by Irwan Hidayat as Director of Sido Muncul which was given directly by Penny K. Lukito, Head of the POM at the World Environmentally Sustainable Corporate Governance event in the Drug and Food Industry held by BPOM, at Shangri La Hotel Jakarta, on Monday, July 17.

For the award, Irwan also thanked BPOM for paying attention not only to the production process of a company, but also to the environmental maintenance process.

"Everything that is recommended by Bappenas, the Ministry of Environment and BPOM, we follow 100 percent. Therefore, we have received 3 Gold Propers, 5 Green Industries, and finally the SDG's award from Bappenas," said Irwan, quoted Thursday, July 20.

For information, as reported by the BPOM page, this activity is the peak event in the World Environment Day (WED) series. Prior to this event, BPOM had organized a series of activities related to the environment, such as the BPOM Environmental Care Movement Campaign in Saparua, Ambon, with material submitted regarding the Ayo Waste Drug Movement correctly, cosmetic refills, and efforts to reduce food waste or food waste.

Head of BPOM RI, Penny K. Lukito explained that the industry with BPOM is at the forefront of protecting the earth in the drug and food sector in accordance with the 12th Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely consumption and production. responsible.
