Dengan IPubers, Tebus Pupuk Subsidi Tak Lagi Ribet

JAKARTA - The digitization of kiosks through the iPubers application or the integration of subsidized fertilizers is expected to facilitate the administrative process of kiosk owners. The government has established South Kalimantan (Kalsel), Bangka Belitung (Babel), Riau, Bali, and Aceh as regional pilots to implement the iPubers application as a result of collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero).

Director of Business Transformation of Pupuk Indonesia, Panji Winanteya Ruky explained that the iPubers application drastically changed the kiosk administration process from what previously filled out many paper forms during the redeem process, now administration is directly recorded in the application.

"So iPubers collaboration from the Ministry of Agriculture and Pupuk Indonesia, we digitize the kiosk so that every transaction at the kiosk is recorded and recorded digitally, everything that was previously manual that we removed," said Panji in a Public Discussion event with the theme Application of iPubers: Subsidized Fertilizer Policy Transformation which took place at Lambung Mangkurat University, South Kalimantan, Thursday, July 13. With the application iPubers, every subsidized fertilizer redeeming transaction at kiosks was directly recorded in real time. This application can also improve the transparency and accuracy of the target recipients of subsidized fertilizers.

"This application can ensure that the improvement of public services, both from kiosks and the public, can easily redeem by just bringing an ID card," he added.

Director of Fertilizer and Pesticide of the Ministry of Agriculture, Tommy Nugraha, said that the iPubers application is the Government's effort to improve subsidized fertilizer policy governance. In particular, it is said that Tommy with digitalization, we can ensure the accuracy of the target in the process of redeeming fertilizers in kiosks and improving reporting, billing and tracing transactions. Tommy said that data accuracy is the main key to the success of subsidized fertilizer policies. The Ministry of Agriculture itself has now re-valid the data on prospective subsidized fertilizer recipients together with the Dukcapil of the Ministry of Home Affairs so that it is hoped that there will be no more duplicate data on subsidized fertilizer recipients.

"At the direction of the Ombudsman, we with PIHC and the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy have succeeded in integrating T-pubers with Partners into iPubers, this is one of the extraordinary steps and has finally materialized, and this is being tested, including in South Kalimantan. Hopefully iPubers can improve subsidized fertilizer governance. For example, how to manage kiosks together to meet the requirements for redeeming subsidized fertilizers, how farmers are required, and we hope that the service can socialize to farmers, "said Tommy.

On the same occasion, Assistant Deputy for Food Infrastructure and Facilities at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ismarini appreciated the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of SOEs through Pupuk Indonesia for implementing the iPubers application at subsidized fertilizer kiosks.

"We need a system, since 2022 the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy has coordinated regarding agricultural digitization. At the kiosk level it has finally become iPubers, this is a digitalization system for the distribution and redeemation of subsidized fertilizers," said Ismarini.
