Gudang Garam, Owned By Conglomerate Susilo Wonowidjojo, Distributes IDR 2.3 Trillion Dividend

JAKARTA - The cigarette company owned by conglomerate Susilo Wonowidjojo, PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) distributed dividends of IDR 2,308,905,600,000 at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) held in Kediri, East Java.

In a release received by Antara, it was stated that the meeting was held on June 26, 2023 at the Grand Surya Hotel, Kediri. The meeting approved the determination of the use of part of the company's profit for the 2022 financial year, which was IDR 2,308,905,600,000 or IDR 2.3 trillion as dividends.

"So the dividends received by each shareholder are IDR 1,200 for each share. Meanwhile, the undistributed profits will be included in the retained earnings account and will be used to increase the company's working capital," the release wrote.

In this activity, he agreed to the company's annual report regarding the company's business run during the financial year ending on December 31, 2022.

"Divising the balance sheet and calculation of the company's loss profit for the financial year ending on December 31, 2022, which has been audited by the Public Accounting Office of Siddharta Widjaja & Partners, which is part of the 2022 Annual Report," the release explained.

During the meeting, they participated in granting full responsibility to the members of the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners of the Company for the actions and supervision they had carried out during the financial year ending on December 31, 2022.

In addition, the actions and supervision of the members of the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners have been reflected in the balance sheet and calculation of the loss profit.

In the meeting, at the same time appointed the Public Accountant Office of Siddharta Widjaja & Fellow as the Company Auditor for the 2023 financial year or his successor who was appointed by the Board of Commissioners.

The 2022 dividend distributed by PT Gudang Garam Tbk is reduced compared to the dividend distributed for the 2021 financial year, which is IDR 4.32 trillion. The dividend distribution is equivalent to IDR 2,250 per share. The dividend determination has also been approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Gudang Garam Tbk on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
