Get A Budget Allocation Of IDR 6.19 Trillion In 2024, This Will Be Done By The Directorate General Of Housing

JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Housing at the Ministry of PUPR received a budget allocation of IDR 6.19 trillion in 2024.

"In 2024, the total budget of the Directorate General of Housing will reach Rp6.19 trillion," said Director General of Housing of the Ministry of PUPR Iwan Suprijanto at a Hearing Meeting (RDP) at the DPR RI Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 13.

Iwan said the budget was based on the Letter of the Minister of PUPR regarding the adjustment of the Indicative Ceiling of the Ministry of PUPR for Fiscal Year (TA) 2024. Meanwhile, the target and budget according to the Indicative Ceiling of the 2024 TA Directorate General of Housing amounting to Rp6.191 trillion will later be used for community development programs.

According to the plan, the budget will also be used for the construction of Flats, including allocations for IKN, Self-Help Houses, as well as assistance for infrastructure, facilities and utilities (PSU) for public homes.

"We will continue to encourage the construction of decent housing for people throughout Indonesia," said Iwan.

Based on existing data, the budget of the Directorate General of Housing will be used for the construction of Flats worth IDR 4.45 trillion for 2,629 units, including allocations for IKN 47 towers, Self-Help Houses IDR 1 trillion for 45,872 units, Infrastructure Assistance, facilities and utilities (PSU) for public houses amounting to IDR 900 billion for 820 units.

Furthermore, is the construction of a special house worth Rp139 billion for 140 units. Meanwhile, non-physical management and output support in the form of technical support of Rp272 billion and management support of Rp311 billion.

"We also have a plan for Intensive Work activities in the form of BSPS support through an extreme poverty reduction (PKE) scheme targeted at 45,872 units with a budget of IDR 1 trillion. The program is expected to absorb 91,744 workers," he said.
