Bank Raya AGMS Agrees To Appoint New Commissioners And Directors

JAKARTA - The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Bank Raya Indonesia Tbk (AGRO), approved the appointment of a new member of the Board of Commissioners and Directors.

Bank Raya Corporate Secretary Ajeng Putri Hapsari said in her official statement, Wednesday, May 10, that after the appointment of a new member of the Board of Commissioners and Directors, Bank Raya is committed to aiming for potential product expansion and strengthening an integrated digital payment ecosystem in one application so that it can be an option for the community.

The Company will also continue to encourage improving the quality of digital products by building service infrastructure to encourage sustainable and profitable growth in the long term.

"That way, Bank Raya will continue to synergize with the BRI Group ecosystem in expanding access to banking products for customers, as well as providing the best experience in digital banking transactions," he said.

The new members of the Board of Commissioners and Directors appointed at the AGMS, namely Muhamad Sidik Heruwibowo as President Commissioner, Retno Wahyuni Wijayanti as Independent Commissioner, Danar Widyantoro as Director of Enterprise Risk Management Compliance & Human Resource, and Rustarti Suri Pertiwi as Director of Finance.

The four members will be effective as Board of Commissioners and Directors after the fit and proper test is approved by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

In addition to changing the composition of the management, Ajeng explained that the AGMS also decided that the company's financial statements and annual report for the financial year ending on December 31, 2022 had been received, approved, and ratified.

Shareholders also approved the use of the company's profit of Rp. 11.46 billion to be used as retained earnings, where Bank Raya still needs the generated profit to develop bank business and operations.
