Hit By Waves, Australian Citizen Falls Into The Sea While Taking A Photo On The Edge Of The Old Tree Nusa Ceningan Cliff

KLUNGKUNG - Kapolsek Nusa Penida Kompol Ida Bagus Putra Sumerta confirmed information that an Australian foreigner (WNA) named▁tenagay Rory Raymond (41) fell into the sea while taking pictures on the edge of a cliff after being hit by waves.

"For this incident, the victim suffered lacerations and abrasions on his legs and hands and is currently receiving medical treatment at the Nusa Ceningan Clinic," said Kompol Sumerta, Friday, April 28.

This incident occurred at The Old Tree Nusa Ceningan, Lembongan Village, Nusa Penida District, Klungkung Regency, Bali, on Thursday (27/4) afternoon.

At that time, the victim and his partner went to Old Tree. At the location, the victim took a photo on the edge of the cliff. But suddenly a big wave came and hit the victim and fell into the sea.

"Then the witness immediately asked the community for help. Finally, the victim swam to the side and at around 17.15 WITA and the victim was successfully evacuated through the Klyf Club Blue Lagoon Nusa Ceningan by the police, village officials and the community," he said.
