JAKARTA - After much consideration, Studio Wildcard has officially announced that its newest game, ARK: Survive Ascended will experience launch delays in Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC until October 2023.

Initially, this game will be launched around August. However, based on the announcement shared on its official website, the studio found it difficult to work with Unreal Engine 5.2. However, the studio also admitted that at the same time, the work was actually very exciting.

"We find new ways every day to push technology to the next level combined with the work needed to support a fully cross-platform modified gaming ecosystem on consoles and PCs, it's clear we need more time," explained the developer and publisher.

Meanwhile, at the same time, Studio Wildcard has also announced that it is dividing the remaster release plan from the map of the Survived The Island and Scored Earth.

"We have also decided to separate the release date of The Island and Scored Earth. With what we have learned about remaking The Island from the bottom up, it is impossible to complete Scorched Earth with the standards we enjoy," he explained.

So for now, the studio plans that Scorched Earth will be present in ASA in December this year, while Ragnarok and Aberration will follow in Q1 2024, and other maps after that.

Ark: Survive Ascended will now launch with an Initial Access Price of 44.99 US dollars (Rp676 thousand) with a launch discount of up to 39.99 US dollars (Rp600 thousand).
