Five Applications For Folding Phone Users, Here It Is

JAKARTA - Currently, there are more and more very unique phone models. One of them is a foldable phone model like the Pixel Fold, you can get a larger screen than most phones.

Last month on I/O 2023, Android announced that there are more than 50 Google apps and many other favorite apps have been optimized for this big screen.

Google has finally highlighted five apps that you can try that apply this important design principle to foldable devices, such as SideChef, LINE, Deezer, Google Weather, and Google Keep.

In the cooking application and SideChef food ingredients, the app will automatically change the size when you use it in separate screen mode. So, on the right side of the screen, you can see the recipe, and on the left side you can customize the time to track the remaining cooking time or also to use a calculator to convert measurements.

The adjustments made to the LINE messaging app are, you will see all the active chat rooms on the left and details of your conversations for each friend you selected on the right.

Deezer is a music streaming app. With the layout of two new panels, you will see the artist's album, sing along with the lyrics on the screen, and spread the news on the left screen, and the whale/play button, switch to the list of songs, and timing sleep on the right screen.

When your phone folds, Google Weather displays today's weather forecast on one screen, and when you open your phone's folds, the left panel displays a 10-day forecast at a glance, and the right panel displays an hourly forecast, wind parameters, humidity levels, and other information for any day you choose from the left panel.

When you open a foldable phone and use a Google Keep, the app will switch to a layout of two panels. You can easily view all your notes at a glance on a larger screen, quickly scan a left panel to find the notes you need, then edit them on the right.
