IKEA Products Can Now Be Seen In 3D Version Only With Google Search

Utilizing AR technology, Google Search has now collaborated with household furniture company IKEA, to allow you to see IKEA products in 3D, while searching for them on Google.

Previously, if you want to see IKEA products in 3D form, you need to use the IKEA Place application specifically for that. This app allows you to view items in augmented reality but only available on iOS, so Android users can't do it.

Well, with its collaboration with Google, now everyone, whether Android users or iPhones, can view items with 3D views anytime and anywhere without a special application.

It's unclear when this functional was added to Search, but 9to5google reports that a number of retailers have partnered with Google to add an inventory list to Search that lets you view items in 3D space before buying.

If you want to search for any product of the brand in Search for Android, now you'll see a command that says See in 3D or View in 3D under the list of appropriate websites.

This feature will certainly be very useful because you get a real look at how it will look at your home. After choosing a suitable product in your home, you can immediately buy it through the official IKEA website.
