Yesterday's Euro 2024 Qualification Recap: Surprising Results For Spanish National Team

JAKARTA - The Spanish national team achieved unsatisfactory results in the second qualifying match for Euro 2024 Group A. La Furia Roja lost when they traveled to Scotland.

Appearing at Hampden Park, Wednesday, March 29, early morning WIT, Spain was defeated by a score of 2-0. Two goals for the host were bought up by Scott McTominay.

McTominay scored the first goal in the 7th minute after taking advantage of a ball from Andrew Robertson. While the second goal was made by the Manchester United player in the 51st minute.

These results put Scotland at the top of the standings while Group A with six points. Meanwhile, Spain is in second place with three points.

In Group D, Turkey had to admit Croatia's advantage when they competed at Bursa Buyuksehir Belediyesi Stadium. Two of Croatia's winning goals were scored by Mateo Kovacic.

In other matches, Wales narrowly won 1-0 over Latvia. Wales' only goal was born through the action of Kieffer Moore.

Wales now occupies the top position in Group D standings with four points. The same value was obtained by Croatia in second place.

While in Group I, Switzerland won 3-0 over Israel. Meanwhile, Romania beat Belarus with a score of 2-1.
