JAKARTA - Wuling Motors, a relatively new automotive manufacturer in the Indonesian market, has succeeded in attracting considerable consumer interest. Since its establishment in 2017, Wuling has sold more than 112,000 vehicles and has a dealers network with 150 services.

Since the beginning of his trip in Indonesia in July 2017, Wuling has inaugurated a factory in Cikarang, West Java, which is the production center of its various flagship models. Among the leading models of Wuling are Conference, Cortez, Formo, Almaz, and their first electric vehicle in Indonesia, namely Air ev. Wuling also contributes to environmentally friendly energy with electrification programs, launching Air ev and Almaz Hybrid.
Air ev electric vehicles have received a positive response in Indonesia since its launch in September 2022. In a short time, the sale of this vehicle reached 10,000 units and was even used as a delegation vehicle at the 2022 G20 Summit in Bali and the 2023 ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, NTT.
Wuling Air ev comes with two variants, namely Standard Range and Long Range. The Standard Range variant is equipped with a lithium-ion 17.3 kWh battery which can cover a distance of up to 200 km in full battery condition. Meanwhile, the Long Range variant has a lithium-ion 26.7 kWh battery capable of traveling a distance of up to 300 km in full battery condition.
