The Presence Of Parents Of Students Suspected Of Abusing High School Teachers In Rejang Lebong Has Been Caught By The Police

BENGKULU - AJ (45), the parents of PDM (16) have been named suspects in the persecution of Zaharman (58), a teacher at SMAN 7 Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu. The suspect is currently being chased by the police.

The head of the Padang Ulak Tanding Police, Inspector Pol Satu Hengky Noprianto, said that AJ's whereabouts were detected in his jurisdiction. However, the suspect always moves so he has not been arrested.

"To speed up the search for the perpetrators, apart from being carried out by the Padang Ulak Tanding Police, a team from the Rejang Lebong Police Satreskrim and Jatanras Polda Bengkulu were also assisted," said Hengky when contacted in Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu, Friday, August 4, quoted by Antara.

Hengky said that the investigation into the abuse case involving the parents of this student caused teaching and learning activities at SMAN 7 Rejang Lebong to stall. The students are currently on vacation for a while.

"We hope that this (learning and learning) will be reactivated. If schools are still in doubt about security and need security from the police, we are ready to do it," said Hengky.

As for Zaharman, a sports teacher at SMAN 7 Rejang Lebong who was a victim of AJ's persecution is currently still undergoing treatment at AR Bunda Hospital, Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra (Sumsel).

Zaharman suffered severe injuries to his right eye due to being sampled by AJ. AJ's eye was declared blind by the doctor who carried out the examination.

The incident of abuse that happened to Zaharman began when the victim found out that a student smoked with the initials PDM in the school environment on Tuesday, August 1 morning.

Zaharman as the school teacher took action against the student. However, the student did not accept and went home to call his parents with the initials AJ.

Not long after, AJ came to school with a knife and catapult. He immediately Zaharman, the teacher who punished his son.

After meeting the victim, the perpetrator immediately directed the catapult towards Zaharman until it hit the right eye. Seeing the victim bleeding, the perpetrator immediately fled.
