President Jokowi Attends The Inauguration Of Apindo's Management

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo and several ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, as well as the prospective PDIP President Ganjar Pranowo to attend the inauguration of the National Leadership Council (DPN) of the Indonesian Employers' Association (Apindo).

President Jokowi was present at 15.55 WIB accompanied by the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Employers' Association (Apindo) Sofjan Wanandi.

"Good afternoon everyone," said President Jokowi to the guests who were present, as reported by ANTARA, Monday, July 31.

In addition, a number of ministers accompanied President Jokowi to enter the venue, namely Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto and Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan, as well as Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono.

The Governor of Central Java as well as the prospective Presidential candidate from PDIP Ganjar Pranowo, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno L. Marsudi seemed to have been at the event location first.

Ganjar was also greeted by Apindo members who immediately asked him to take a photo together.

In the inauguration of the Apindo DPN management for the 2023-2028 Bakti Period, the association also launched the 70-year Apindo book which was later handed over to President Jokowi.

As for before the inauguration of the Apindo DPN management, Shinta Widjaja Kamdani was appointed as the General Chair of the Apindo DPN for the period 2023-2028 by acclamation and Sofjan Wanandi as Chair of the Apindo Advisory Council for the period 2023 2028, in the XI National Conference of the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo).

Munas Apindo will be held on June 14-15, 2023 with the big theme "United Entrepreneurs, Advanced Indonesia".
