Kapolrestabes Surabaya Kombes Pasma Royce explained that the evidence was obtained from two dealers, each with the initials DN (24), a resident of Sidoarjo, East Java, and HH (33), a resident of Bandung, West Java.
"Our two perpetrators were arrested at a hotel in the Palembang City area, South Sumatra recently," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 26.
The arrests of DN and HH were the result of the development of an investigation from the previous case, after May 2023 arresting a narcotics dealer with the initials PN by securing evidence of methamphetamine weighing 28.3 kilograms.
The perpetrators are suspected of being a gang of narcotics dealers of methamphetamine from the Sumatra-Java network.
