Gibran Reveals East Java Park Investment In Solo Builds New Destinations

JATENG - Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka revealed the plan to build a new tourist destination in Solo by involving the private sector. "With East Java (East Java) Park, this was just discussed," said Gibran in Solo, Central Java, Tuesday, July 25. However, he was reluctant to explain in more detail regarding the investment plan that will be carried out by Jatim Park in Solo. "Tomorrow, I will understand that (it will be finished later), it will continue to be inaugurated," he said. He said that the location for the construction of the new destination was inside the city of Solo. In fact, it is possible that this new tourist spot will increase congestion in the city. "Adding new tourism but maybe it will get stuck," he said.

He said that he deliberately brought parties who were already experts in his field to be involved in the development of Solo City, including in the tourism sector. "My job is to bring people who are experts in their respective fields," he said. Previously, Gibran had mentioned the plan to invest in new tourist attractions in Solo. However, at that time he did not elaborate further on the investment plan.
