Koster wants the Rp150 thousand or 10 US dollars levy program for foreign tourists to be socialized first before it is estimated that it can be implemented in February 2024.

The levies addressed to foreign tourists who come to the Island of the Gods will later be used to protect Balinese culture and nature, where the payment process is carried out electronically and directly into the treasury of Bali Province.

"I will convey this Raperda to the Minister of Home Affairs for the facilitation process. I hope that the facilitation process can run smoothly and do not encounter obstacles in the discussion at the Ministry of Home Affairs," said Koster.

After the Raperda regarding the retribution levy is approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the socialization process can take place and its implementation can be an integrated policy with other policies.

In addition to the issue of levy fees, on that occasion the Bali DPRD also approved a number of regional regulations that could also increase regional income.
