The train lane at the accident site between the Brantas train and a truck at a intersection on Jalan Madukoro, Semarang City, was able to pass after the evacuation of the locomotive which was completed on Wednesday morning.

"The evacuation of the locomotive is complete at 04 28 WIB, the sea can be passed but with limited speed," said Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 4 Semarang Ixfan Hendri Wintoko as quoted by ANTARA.

According to him, the Gumarang train bound for Jakarta-Surabaya became a passing train on the route where an accident occurred at a speed of 5 km per hour.

He said that as a result, two train lanes at the scene could already be crossed by trains.

"One path can be passed at a normal speed, for a path that occurs temperan can be passed at a limited speed," he said.

PT KAI will try to restore the route as soon as possible so that the train trip can return to normal.

Although the two routes can be passed, there are still a number of trains that have been affected by their trips due to the accident.

The trains that are still affected include Pandalungan Train, Harina Train, Argo Muria Train, and Gumarang Train.

The longest delay in travel due to the incident reached 146 minutes experienced by the Gumarang train.

PT KAI, according to him, has provided compensation to passengers affected by the trip, namely in the form of drinks and heavy food.

Previously, the Brantas Train bound for Jakarta-Blitar crashed into a truck at a crossing on Jalan Madukoro, West Semarang, Tuesday night.
