Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy asked local government officials (Pemda) to be more careful in planning the process of New Student Admissions (PPDB) in the future.
"Essentially, we ask that local governments be more careful in making PPDB planning, don't be too close in time during the admission period," Muhadjir said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 18.
The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture reminded that actually PPDB can be designed even a year before opening.
"Once the children enter grade 6 next year they will be prospective junior high school students, they should have been coordinated between school principals, each service head," he said.
Muhadjir hopes that the same thing will be done for PPDB at the high school level, so that prospective students already know where he can register, so that if there are certain problems, they can be resolved long before PPDB.
The Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture assessed that more mature planning could avoid repeated problems related to the implementation of PPDB this year in the future.
"I already have data, so there aren't many cases, only almost all regions have cases," said Muhadjir.
