BENGKULU - Bengkulu Regional Police (Polda) confiscated 18,000 pills of cough medicine brand 'Samcodin' which were abused to get drunk. By the suspect, the cough medicine will be sold at a price of Rp. 100,000 per box with 10 drug strips to be sold to students and the general public.

Previously, the Food and Drug Supervision Center (BPOM) and the Bengkulu Police confiscated thousands of cough drugs of Samcodin type that were not allowed to be traded carelessly and had to be with a doctor's prescription.The types of drugs seized were 25 Samcodin tablets that were still in plastic, 40 boxes of pills, 1,971 samcodin tablets, 389 packaged strips that had been opened and 13 packaged strips that had been opened with the contents of five strips.
