JAYAPURA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially opened the Papua Street Carnival in Jayapura City, Papua, on Friday 7 July 2023.
In his remarks President Jokowi said he had seen a big leap in the work of young Papuans after the inauguration of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYHC).
"I saw PYHC when it was inaugurated and now I see its development. I believe Papuan children can make big leaps," said President Jokowi in Jayapura, Friday 7 July.

He explained that he had seen various Papuan products, including coffee, smoked fish, and designer products. "The leap is really visible, where the design is very good, the brand is packaged very well and as attractive as possible," said President Jokowi as reported by Antara.
