Corruption Of IDR 702 Million, Police Detain ASN Of The NTB Provincial Government Education Office

Police investigators detained the official commitment maker (PPK) of the band's marketing art equipment procurement project at the West Nusa Tenggara Education and Culture Office with the initials MI. Director of Special Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimsus) Polda NTB Kombes Pol Nasrun Pasaribu revealed that MI was one of two suspects in the alleged corruption case of procurement projects in the 2017 fiscal year. "Yes, we have detained the person concerned as PPK at the NTB Police Detention Center," Nasrun was quoted as saying by ANTARA, Thursday, July 6. Detention of MI, he said, on Wednesday (5/7) afternoon. The detention of MI was accompanied by a legal representative. Other suspects with the initials LB who acted as the recipient of power from the CV Gold Shop, the company of the procurement project implementation partner, Nasrun explained that the person concerned is currently serving the sentence of a general criminal case in Central Lombok Regency. "Because he is still serving a sentence in Central Lombok, we are not holding it," he said. In revealing this, Nasrun said that the handling of the cases of the two suspects has now entered the final investigation. "So, this case has been declared complete. Just wait for the delegation to the prosecutor. This is what we are still coordinating with the prosecutor for the execution time," he said.

In this case, investigators named the two suspects by strengthening evidence from the results of an audit by the NTB Representative Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). State losses that emerged reached Rp702 million. Losses arise from the identification of procurement budget distribution in two stages. First, worth Rp1.57 billion to be distributed to five public high schools and secondly Rp982.43 million to four private high schools.
