The Retired TNI-Polri Concerned Forum Asks For The Neutrality Of State Officials For The Democratic 2024 Election

JAKARTA - Retired TNI and Polri who are members of the High TNI-Polri Retired Officers' Forum (FKKP) reminded state officials to be central in the 2024 General Election. "Netrality to ensure that the elections take place is democratic, honest and fair. Election implementation must pass on good lessons for the next generation of nation development," said FKKP Coordinator Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Ediwan Prabowo in a written statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 27. "All parties must play a real role in preventing the occurrence of such a situation," he said. Sementara itu, anggota FKKP Laksamana Madya TNI (Purn) Deddy Muhibah Pribadi SH menambahkan adanya kecemasan potensi kecurangan yang timbul seiring dengan munculnya informasi adanya daftar pemilih palsu yang manipulatif.Selain itu, para purnawirawan Perwira Tinggi TNI-Polri juga menangkap adanya keraguan dan kekhawatiran terhadap lembaga peradilan dan penegak hukum yang terindikasi tebang pilih dan terpolitisasi.Kemudian, Inspektur Jenderal Pol (Purn) Prof Anas Yusuf mengatakan adanya keraguan dan kekhawatiran terhadap penegakan hukum dan keadilan, akibat kemungkinan adanya intervensi."Yang pasti, intervensi terhadap hukum adalah kejahatan terhadap rakyat dan negara,” katanya menegaskan.
