MEKKAH - The Indonesian Hajj Health Clinic (KKHI) for Working Areas (Daker) Mekkah will prepare 16 buses for wusuf safaris for sick pilgrims.

"The buses are able to accommodate more than 200 people, 6 buses are modified to transport pilgrims using patient beds," said Head of the Health Section of Daker Mekkah, PPIH Saudi Arabia, Andi Ardjuna Sakti in Mecca as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 21.

Ardjuna said about six buses were prepared for pilgrims who could only lie down where one bus contained about eight beds so that a total of 48 worshipers could be transported.

In addition, KKHI has also prepared nine buses with a capacity of 25 people with additional medical equipment facilities.

Buses carrying pilgrims for the wuhkuf safari are planned to enter Arafah in the afternoon after Zuhur or during wukuf 9 Zulhijjah 1444 Hijri or 27 June 2023.

According to him, the congregation being treated at the Saudi Arabian hospital will be vaccinated by the hospital. Meanwhile, congregants who do not allow to take part in the wif safari will be converted or replaced by officers.

Ardjuna said the pilgrims who would be safaried and prayed will be determined the day before the implementation of the wukuf.

Congregants for the wuhkuf safari will be brought to KKHI to be dispatched together to Arafah.

"About 1-2 hours are in Arafah," said Ardjuna.

Meanwhile, Head of the Haji Liliek Health Center, Marhaendro Susilo, said that the screening of pilgrims for wif safaris is carried out in every flying or cluster group. There are at least 50 elderly or high risk (crysties) per cluster monitored.
