BOGOR - The Social Service (Dinsos) of Bogor Regency, West Java, has secured nine Commercial Sex Workers (PSK) who are targeted to serve 160 men in a month by their pimps.

"Each of them is targeted to serve 40 people a week. So they (PSK) are a week's salary system of Rp. 2 million," said Head of Social Rehabilitation (Rehsos) at the Bogor Buchori Muslim District Social Service, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, June 12.

The nine women were arrested after being raided by the Police at a villa in Cisarua Village, Puncak, Bogor, on Thursday (8/6), along with seven men who were pimps.

Buchori said the prostitutes were marketed by pimps through the MiChat application. Every masher who wears the services of prostitutes must pay from Rp. 300 thousand to Rp. 700 thousand to pimps.

"They (PSK) get nothing from the money. They will be paid Rp. 2 million per week," said Buchori.

He explained that of the nine women who were arrested, six of them were still minors, namely 15-17 years old. While the other three are 18, 22, and 24 years old.

Buchori said the Bogor District Social Service Office immediately handed over six underage prostitutes to the Bekasi Main Love Foundation (YKYU) and three adult prostitutes to the Citeureup Social Welfare Center (BKS), Bogor.

The prostitutes, he said, would receive guidance at the Center for Social Welfare and the Main Love Foundation.

"If there is a family, please take it from the family by bringing your ID card, family card, and accompanied by the local government. Later we will make a letter of agreement there," he said.

Regarding the seven men who were also arrested along with the nine prostitutes, he said, are now being handled by the police. Because there are indications of human trafficking or the Crime of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO).

"Regarding the whereabouts of these seven (men) do not know, because it is not our domain to investigate. I leave it to the police," said Buchori.
