A young man with the initials KM (23) had to be rushed to Cileungsi Hospital after being hit by firecrackers that exploded around the Kuluwung Festival, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency on Thursday, May 4, 2023.
Sukamakmur Health Center officer Teguh Yudiana confirmed the incident.
He said that the incident occurred at around 17.30 WIB.
Teguh also shared the brief chronology he received after handling KM.
"The victim was passing by going home. There were other firecrackers beside him that exploded, the firecrackers were big. In the complaint area (festival) cumuwung," said Teguh Friday, May 5.
According to Teguh, the victim must be referred from the Sukamakmur Health Center to the Cileungsi Hospital and handled by a more expert party because the injuries he suffered were quite severe in the nose.
"Hancur hidup itu harus sama sama ahli. Bukan (kena kuluwung), terkena firecrackers. Jadi panas firecracker tuh masuk nasal, yang lumpur firecracker itu yang bulet itu masuk nasal," jelasnya.
Until now KM is still in the hospital with stable conditions.
