JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo said that the May Day demonstration or commemoration of International Labor Day at 116 points in Indonesia runs safely and conducively. He also expressed his appreciation to all labor groups and police personnel who have worked well together to create a safe, orderly, and peaceful situation. "With the realization of a safe and peaceful situation, Sigit stated that it will affect the investment climate to increase economic growth in Indonesia.," said Sigit added. On the same occasion, the President of the Confederation of Indonesian Workers Unions (KSPI) Said Iqbal expressed his appreciation to the National Police Chief and all ranks who have provided optimal and humanist security to all elements of workers when conveying their aspirations.

Dir Intel Polda Metro Jaya dan di Mabes Polri memberikan komunikasi dan pelayanan yang baik," ucap Said Iqbal.Di sisi lain, Presiden Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Seluruh Indonesia (KSPSI) Andi Gani Nena Wea juga menyampaikan apresiasi yang senada. Menurutnya, berkat adanya pengawalan dan pengamanan yang diberikan Polri, penyampaian aspirasi kelompok buruh dapat berjalan dengan kondusif."Saya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Polri yang sudah memberikan pengamanan sangat kondusif, sangat luar biasa. Terima kasih atas kerja samanya selama ini kepada polisi seluruh Indonesia. Terima kasih kepada Pak Kapolri, Kapolda Metro Jaya, luar biasa pengamanan Polri.
