Paralympic Athlete David Jacobs Will Be Autopsied, Family Is Present At Husada Hospital

JAKARTA - Kapolsek Sawah Besar AKP Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie said Dian David Mickael Jacobs' body, a table tennis disabled athlete who was found dead from the edge of the railway flyover, was still at the Husada Hospital (RS).

"The body is already at Husada Hospital. The family is also present, only the last time I got information that he wanted an autopsy," said AKP Dhanar when confirmed by VOI, Friday, April 28.

Furthermore, AKP Dhanar explained, the case has now been handled by the Central Jakarta Police Criminal Investigation Unit. Meanwhile, regarding the injuries suffered by the victim, AKP Dhanar was reluctant to explain.

"It has entered the material, so we can't give any comments, later from the Resort Police. We (the police) are only limited to finding (the victim) and being taken to Husada Hospital, Sawah Besar. If the crime scene should still be on the border with the Gambir area," he said.

Confirmed separately, the Head of Public Relations of KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Eva Chairunisa admitted that Dian victim David Mickael Jacobs was a train passenger (KA).

"Yes, that's right, if you check the passenger data, the name is indeed listed as a prospective passenger who has purchased a ticket," he briefly told VOI.

As is known, Dian David Mickael Jacobs, a table tennis disabled athlete (right hand disabled) was found lying on the edge of the Juanda Station flyover (KA) which borders Gambir and Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta on Thursday night, April 27. The victim suffered injuries to the back of the head.

From his body, a cellphone and ticket were found on the KAI Access application with the "booking code 9HV69PE" departing from the Argo Lawu train for the GMR-SLO relationship on April 27, 2023 (EX-1/12D) on the schedule for GMR at 20.45 and arriving at SLO at 03.49 WIB.

The victim was already boarding. When found, the victim's position was on the route between Gambir Station to Juanda at KM 4-700.
