This Figure Is Considered The Successor Of Jokowi's Development Program

The figure of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) who is also the General Chairperson (Ketum) of PSSI, Erick Thohir is considered the successor to the program and development that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has carried out.

President researcher of Indonesian Political Indicators (IPI), Kennedy Muslim said, Erick, who is the flagship leader and President Jokowi's trust, continues to be the choice of the community for the position of vice presidential candidate (cawapres) in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

"Erick Thohir is considered by the public to be able to continue the program and development of President Jokowi after 2024," he said, quoted Monday, April 24.

As is known, he continued, Erick did carry out many strategic mandates from President Jokowi. Where this mandate was successfully carried out by Erick Thohir with full success.

At the Ministry of SOEs, Erick has succeeded in increasing profits every year, increasing contributions to the state, eradicating corruption and carrying out transformations.

Then as the Chief Executive of the Committee for Combating Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPC PEN) Erick also succeeded in carrying out Jokowi's duties to continue to drive the economy of the community and the state during the pandemic.

In addition, Erick is the main leader Jokowi will appoint in efforts to save the world of Indonesian football. When the Kanjuruhan Tragedy occurred, Jokowi immediately sent Erick to negotiate with FIFA so as not to impose severe sanctions on Indonesia.

"Therefore, the public sees Erick Thohir as the right leader to continue Jokowi's leadership and development work program in the government after the end of his term of office in 2024," he said.

Kennedy also sees that Erick has received the blessing of President Jokowi to run in the upcoming 2024 presidential election as a vice presidential candidate. This blessing can be seen from the frequent number one person in Indonesia collaborating with Erick in formal and non-formal events in society.

"Erick Thohir is a vice presidential candidate that has been approved by President Jokowi. It can be seen from the various endorsements given by President Jokowi to Erick Thohir, often invited together in political and ceremonial events," he concluded.
